Formation for Parents and Adults

St. Mary’s Religious Education Program is designed to help the entire family, children and parents, experience the gift of faith and the power of grace. United to God, we can move mountains, love our enemies, forgive one another and face our daily sufferings. Children are enrolled to receive classes. Parents, likewise, are offered the opportunity to receive faith formation classes. These classes are a gift, an opportunity, a privileged moment to have an encounter with Jesus Christ, receive the Good News and be moved by the Holy Spirit that invites us to be faithful disciples.  These classes will help you make your faith lively and active again. You will be equipped with the necessary graces and wisdom to pass on the faith to your children. 

Parent's requirement and expectation:
Parents SHOULD attend Faith Formation classes during their child’s Sacramental preparation class.  If a parent misses a Parent Faith Formation Session, we will send you a recorded video of the class that was missed via Flocknote along with a question that we invite you to answer as a sign that you have seen the video.
If more than three "Parent Faith Formation" classes are missed, and the parent does not view the makeup video nor sends the answer to the question, we will have the parent attend a ONE-DAY Recuperating Retreat together with his/her child on a date to be determined to make up the classes.
