October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. Specifically, October 15th is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day. We want to bring awareness to the fact that 1 in 4 pregnancies ends in miscarriage. Many women have suffered one or more pregnancy losses. Because we believe that life begins at conception, we grieve the loss of the lives of unborn children. Pregnancy and infant loss can be an isolating experience. We would like to offer our support to all mothers and fathers who have lost a child to miscarriage, stillbirth or infant loss. We cordially invite you to a BILINGUAL PRAYER SERVICE on Friday, October 22nd at 7:30 pm at the Gym for anyone who has lost a child to miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss. The prayer service will include the rosary, the litany of the saints, a small ceremony to name and pray for the baby lost through miscarriage, stillbirth or infant loss, and a small group sharing and fellowship. We will pray, grieve and celebrate the lives of our dearly beloved children and will offer mutual support in an atmosphere of faith and fraternity.
